Monroe Moose Ride
There might be "Men in pink on sprees" to start us off. Who knows?

If we never try it, we're never gonna know. I'm thinking the volunteers can lead us from the Lodge, up past Kutters, around the square and then off on our ride.

You don't need a motorcycle; you can come and join us in whatever vehicle you want. Ladies in vehicles, dress to the "9's" or "10's". We can really make this a fun event!

We're planning this event on August 14th, leave the Moose Lodge at 12:30; travel to the Freeport Lodge, Beloit Lodge, Janesville Lodge and who knows where else we may go. Map details will be posted at the Lodge.

It's steak night that evening at our Lodge. So it would be really cool if you would all end up here.

Sign up sheets will be at the Lodge or you can call Karyn Johnson @ 608-558-1658.

Let's have fun with this!

It's time for another newsletter. Thanks to Don Martin's Sport Shop for doing all the engraving of our Lodge's name plates and plaques over the years, to Pat Davis for making the ramp for the front door and Delton Davis for installing it. It looks good. Thanks to Dennis Van Velden for the donation made to the Lodge for the Relay for Life Benefit Breakfast.

We need to sign up some more new and former members. If you sign up 2 members you could get your dues paid for one year by Mooseheart.

We had to do a few major repairs in the last month. The compressor for the walk in cooler had to be replaced and the Ansul Fire System was brought up to state code.

Horseshoe is going good with everyone having fun and a good time. Ron is doing a great job on the lawn.

It's nice to see a good crowd on Thursday and Friday nights. The Saturday Steak Fry is also good.

All members need to help the Board of Officers as they are doing a good job. We have a few new officers this year.

The 1st District Meeting will be held at the Moose Lodge on July 18, 2010. There will be a summer picnic after the meeting and, weather permitting, we will have games outside. All members are welcome to attend.

Thanks to Gail Myers, Sr. for sponsoring Edward Powell, Sr. and to Delton Davis for sponsoring David Holst into the Moose Legion.

Watch your calendar for the upcoming events and good meals.
